About Us

InterYIT (International Young ICT Professionals group) is a group for young professionals in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT). InterYIT comes under IFIP – the International Federation for Information Processing. IFIP is the leading multinational organisation in ICT, recognised by the United Nations and other world bodies. IFIP has the representation of ICT societies in 56 countries/regions, covering five continents with a total membership of over half a million. It links more than 3500 scientists from Academia & Industry.

The Inter YIT board has representation from around the world. Amit Joshi of Global knowledge research foundation is the Chairman of the International Young ICT Professionals Group (InterYIT).

The board expects to expand its services to support young professionals around the world as well as to strengthen groups of young professionals who are in the field of IT.

InterYIT can be contacted at amit@gr.foundation to get further details on this. InterYIT can be also contacted to receive guidance on formation of new Young IT groups. The group has developed a guideline on how new groups can be formed effectively.

Our Objectives:

  • To encourage the professional growth of Young Professionals around the world.
  • Be the umbrella organisation for all Young IT groups that are directly and in-directly working with national computer societies.
  • Foster communication between Young IT Groups.
  • Encourage the creation of new Youth IT Groups within member societies who does not currently have such representation.
  • Promote representation of young professionals in the computer societies as well as within IFIP.
  • Be the linkage between young professionals and IFIP (www.ifip.org).
